Conscious and Accidental Architecture

When a farmer builds a hut near his farm, does that hut have architecture? Would an enterprise have enterprise architecture, if it doesn't have any EA Capability within? What value does EA drive and why should IT Leaders take Conscious Architecture more seriously?
